Family Law
Chane & Eble, P.A., offers family law services to Pasco, Sumter, Hernando, Hillsborough, and Pinellas Counties.
Focused on Finding the Best Solution for Your Family
As parents, our attorneys appreciate and understand the importance of keeping long-term goals and plans in mind when addressing legal strategy that impacts minor children. In the fall of 2008, the Florida legislature replaced traditional custodial arrangements, which designated a primary and secondary residential parent, with parenting plans and time sharing plans. These plans encourage the active and frequent involvement of both responsible parents in the lives of their children. Time sharing plans can dramatically impact child support obligations under the Florida Child Support Guidelines. While we incorporate and encourage family interests whenever possible, Chane & Eble, P.A. responds aggressively to attempts to abuse or minimize our client’s parental rights.
Chane & Eble, P.A., strives to educate and protect their clients in the equitable distribution of marital assets and liabilities as marriages dissolve in this increasingly difficult economy. However, we are not strangers to complex, contested litigation utilizing experts to ascertain and maximize our clients’ award of their legal share of multimillion dollar real, personal, and business assets.
Mediation
Absent an emergency, Florida law requires mediation to attempt resolve of most temporary and permanent family law issues before scheduling a hearing or trial with the circuit court judge assigned to the case. When parties can not or will not reach an agreement between themselves or through their attorneys, Chane & Eble, P.A. recommends mediation to try to resolve as many disputed issues as possible, reducing the expense inherent in protracted litigation. When good faith efforts to resolve differences fail, the attorneys and support staff at Chane & Eble, P.A., present their client’s case, which they have aggressively investigated, in the family circuit and appellate courts in West Central Florida.
Both Laurie R. Chane and William K. Eble, Sr. represent men and women in contested and uncontested family law cases involving:
